Welcome to Year 6, a year of magic, memories and SATs. It begins in September with a two night residential packed full of outdoor challenges at How Stean Gorge in North Yorkshire. Then several months of learning new skills whils working towards the Key Stage 2 SATs in May, before some well-earned relaxation and preparing for the transition to high school. It concludes with a retreat day in which the children will reflect on their learning journey at Sacred Heart and plan their next exciting steps. A memorable year of building confidence, independence and resilience.

PE days are on Monday and Friday. New spellings are given out on Monday and tested on Friday. Homework is given out on Friday, either on Microsoft Teams (our online learning platform) or green homework books, and returned on Wednesday. Reading books are changed on Thursday.
